Kristen Roe is a USAT certified triathlon coach with a BS in Sport, Fitness and Lesire studies, and concentration in athletic studies and mat teaching. For 10 years she worked as an
athletic trainer at the collegiate level, and was in charge of the prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of athletic related injuries. She covered sports from football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, swimming.
In 2000 she moved on to become a Personal Fitness Trainer designing fitness programs to help individuals achieve there fitness goals.
Kristen has been participating in triathlons since 1995 racing all distances but mainly focusing on Ironman distance. Since then she's coached athletes from beginners to advanced in accomplishing their goals of successful racing at all distances.
In her hometown of Syracuse NY Kristen leads an indoor cycling class, weight training for triathletes class , training trips to Lake Placid and designs individual programs for triathletes of all levels.
As if this all weren't enough... Kristen is also the race director for the wildly successful "Du on the Lakes" Duathlon, held right in Syracuse. Please click here for the 2011 event details!
As wife and mother of 2 children ages 8 &6 she understands the importance of getting the most out of each workout.
